Terms & Conditions
We prefer to discuss each job individually and agree terms with clients on
the basis of the service required and Clients’ needs. These are basic terms and
conditions we adhere to
- Cancellation fees 14 days prior to an event is a half fee.
- Cancellation fees seven days prior to an event is a full fee.
- An STTR attends the meeting for the client’s communication support and the client must also attend the meeting, if the client does not attend the STTR is not required to remain.
- Half day is a meeting up to three hours in length.
- Full day is any meeting over three hours.
- Travel for jobs in London is included in the fee.
- Jobs outside of London travel is not included.
- If an overnight stay is required accommodation will be charged and basic living expenses.
- Remote cancellation fees 48 hours prior to an event is a full fee.
- Working hours are between 9.00am and 6.00pm.
- Booking within 48 hours of an onsite event may incur a discretionary charge.
- Breaks for writers at least every 90mins are required, this includes remote workers.
- Draft transcripts may incur a charge.
- The use of more than one reporter will be at the discretion of MyClearText once full details of the event or meeting have been discussed.
